Accessibility statement

1. Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use CertAscent with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or on a small phone. We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA. We do not claim full conformance yet: some checks still need a manual pass with real assistive technology.
2. What we test on every change
Automated checks (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 AA rules) on every page in light and dark themes, at desktop and phone sizes; keyboard-only use of navigation, dialogs, the command palette and the certification drawer; one heading structure per page, named controls and live announcements through the browser's accessibility tree; reflow at 320 CSS pixels with increased text spacing; forced colours and reduced motion; right-to-left layout for Arabic.
3. Known limitations
A full manual pass with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) is still pending. Dragging cards on the tracker board and in the exam blueprint is mouse-only; named "Move up / Move down" buttons do the same by keyboard. Windows High Contrast themes are only tested through browser emulation. Exported files (CSV, calendar, the downloadable portfolio page) are not checked like pages are. Parts of the interface are not yet translated into Arabic; legal texts are in English.
4. Tell us about a barrier
If something is hard or impossible to use, write to support@certascent.com or use Help & feedback in the app. Tell us the page, what you tried and the assistive technology you use. We reply within 3 business days and, where we can't fix a barrier quickly, help you get the information another way.
