1. Beta service
The platform is currently offered as a public beta. Features, limits, prices and certification data may change, be interrupted or be removed, and you may encounter errors or incomplete information. We work to fix problems quickly based on reports and on anonymous error reports from the app (see the Privacy Notice). Keep your own copies of important records (use Export), and report problems through Help & feedback. Paid plans bought during the beta are covered by the refund terms shown at checkout.
2. Information only, not professional advice
All content on this platform, including roadmaps, career paths, recommendations, timelines, cost estimates, eligibility and renewal information, and anything produced by the AI assistant ("Cert Coach"), is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not career, legal, financial, immigration, employment or professional advice and does not create any advisory, fiduciary or professional relationship.
3. You decide, and you are responsible
You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions, including which certifications you pursue, what you purchase, how you prepare, when you sit exams, and how you maintain credentials. You should independently verify all information with the official certification body (issuer) and, where appropriate, consult a qualified adviser before acting. You accept full responsibility and accountability for outcomes that result from your use of, or reliance on, this platform.
4. Accuracy, completeness and changes
Certification programmes, exam content, prices, fees, prerequisites, eligibility, renewal and continuing-education requirements, names and availability are set by independent third parties and change without notice. Although we check data against official sources and show when each item was last verified, we do not guarantee that any information is accurate, complete, current or suitable for your circumstances. Prices are indicative and may exclude taxes, regional pricing, training, membership and other costs. Always rely on the issuer's official website as the authoritative source.
5. No guarantee of results
Estimated study hours, timelines, readiness scores, "best feasible" schedules and recommendations are approximations based on the information you provide and general assumptions. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam, obtain or keep any certification, meet eligibility requirements, secure employment, promotion, salary changes or any other outcome.
6. AI assistant
The AI assistant generates responses automatically and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Its suggestions are not advice, and it never changes your data without your explicit confirmation. Review every suggestion and verify important facts, especially fees, deadlines and requirements, with the issuer. Do not share sensitive personal information (such as passwords, government identifiers or payment details) with the assistant.
7. Third-party links, badges and services
The platform links to third-party websites, credential platforms (such as Credly or Accredible) and sign-in providers. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, pricing or practices. Credential links and badges you add are your responsibility; the platform does not verify that they belong to you unless stated otherwise.
8. Trademarks and affiliation
Certification names, acronyms, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those certifications. The platform is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by any certification body, training provider or employer unless expressly stated. The underlying security roadmap structure is based on Paul Jerimy's publicly available Security Certification Roadmap, credited with thanks.
9. Open data licence
The security certification roadmap data is adapted from Paul Jerimy's Security Certification Roadmap (https://github.com/PaulJerimy/SecCertRoadmapHTML), licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/). We restructured it into a dataset and updated it from issuer sources. That adapted roadmap data is shared under CC BY-SA 4.0, and nothing in these terms restricts the rights that licence gives you in it. The licence does not cover the platform's software, design, brand, your personal data, or data from other industries that we compiled independently.
10. Your data and records
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your own records (for example exam results, CPE evidence and receipts) as required by issuers. In local mode your data stays in your browser; export backups regularly. With an account, see the Privacy Notice for how data is processed, retained, exported and deleted. Organisation administrators only see progress summaries that members choose to share.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the platform and its owners, operators, contributors and suppliers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages, or for any loss of opportunity, income, data, fees, time or reputation, arising from or related to your use of, or reliance on, the platform or its content, including errors, omissions, interruptions or AI output. The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, statutory consumer rights, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
12. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or older where local law sets a higher age (18 in countries such as India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Brazil); sign-up shows the minimum for your country. The platform is intended for professionals and adult learners and is not directed to children.
13. Changes and acceptance
We may update this notice. Material changes will be highlighted and you may be asked to acknowledge them again. By using the platform you acknowledge that you have read and understood this notice and agree to use the platform on this basis. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
