Renewal & maintenance
Valid for 3 years, 50 CEU credits per cycle, $50/yr maintenance fee. Renew by cpe.
Continuing Education fee roughly $25–$50/yr, depending on the certification. Earning a higher CompTIA cert (e.g. CySA+) renews the ones below it.
Recognition
CompTIA Pro-series (ex-TestOut) credential: a training course with an integrated performance-based competency assessment. Formerly Routing and Switching Pro; prepares for Cisco CCNA (200-301).
