The authoritative page is now on peoplecert.org (PeopleCert manages/delivers all ITIL exams). That page shows the ITIL scheme has moved from "ITIL 4" to "ITIL (Version 5)" — e.g. "ITIL Foundation (Version 5.0)", with an "ITIL Foundation Bridge (Version 5)" upgrade module for ITIL 4 holders. ITIL Master (V5) still exists and now requires: ITIL Foundation (V5) + all three of ITIL Practice Manager (V5), ITIL Managing Professional (V5), and ITIL Strategic Leader (V5); existing ITIL 4 Masters can upgrade via an "ITIL Managing Professional Transition" module. No price, exam format, or validity period is published on the peoplecert.org overview page. Recommend: (1) replace the axelos.com URL with https://www.peoplecert.org/certifications/it-governance/itil-4/itil-master, (2) flag the ITIL 4→5 version transition for a human decision on how to represent this in the roadmap, (3) treat cost/format as unconfirmed pending further research. Re-confirmed 2026-09-26 on the same peoplecert.org URL already on file. Current ITIL Master (Version 5) pathway: complete ITIL Foundation (Version 5), then earn all three of ITIL Practice Manager (Version 5), ITIL Managing Professional (Version 5) and ITIL Strategic Leader (Version 5); all three then combine to award ITIL Master (Version 5). Existing ITIL 4 Master holders can upgrade via the 'ITIL Managing Professional Transition (Version 5)' module (grants Managing Professional + Practice Manager + Strategic Leader designations in one step, and therefore Master); ITIL v3 Master holders take the same transition module but must separately obtain Practice Manager and Strategic Leader.
